I will moving to live with my daughter. The increase in rent when I signed my second lease is putting a strain on my budget. My time here at the Lakes has been excellent! Beautiful property, great staff and it felt like home.

I love the craft events which are usually well done. I feel great that I can go to Tami and Christine whenever I have a concern. The only complaint I is the problem with packages and delivery on weekends and after hours. I wish there was an alternative.

I just was so happy Larry got right on my repair of my air conditioning he is the absolute best! We as a community are really fortunate that he is here. He is so kind I just love him😊

Tami provided our tour and she was amazing, professional and very knowledgeable. Tami maintained an inviting attitude and answered all questions diligently. It was nice to see my name on the welcome easel. Tami has exceptional customer service skills and kept in contact with me ensuring that any questions or concerns were answered. My tour at The Lakes at Grand Prairie was the best out of the three 55+ apartments I toured. Looking forward to moving in soon.

I am a people person which means I enjoy others as part of my life. I am very active in my life with church, Bible study, book club. I also house/pet sit for friends while on vacation. I do have some physical limitations which makes heavy doors and gates challenging.

The grass condition outside had the leftover grass clippings left over from heavy rain a couple of months ago. The apartment yard areas are not maintained and some are not organized or cleaned. The building repair work on so many areas on the building has taken much longer than anticipated and has been very unsightly.

Usually when I submit a maintenance request the turn around is the next day. This request was done a few days after I submitted it. I found out that there was a problem with some lighting in the community that needed our maintenance personnel’s attention. So, with that said I understood why there was a delay in responding to my request.

I love the community and the location but I was a bit disappointed with all of the ongoing construction projects which began shortly after I moved in. Also I hope that you all will consider my recommendations for the media room (dark blinds/shades for all windows, switch dimmers and consolidated less complicated remotes

I really love my neighbors most of us are like family I’m really thankful for that. We play games go out to eat go to the movies we laugh & really enjoy each others company. That is what makes it here at the Lake’s the best!

I was away from my apartment during this icy weather and had left my faucets dripping as requested. When It was recently requested to report any leakage issues, I needed someone check my apartment. This was done quickly per my request.

My mother quickly adjusted from living into a single family home to her apartment. We as a Family feel very comfortable with the security of the apartment building, the cleanliness of the entire complex and attention the staff give when She/ family have a concern. I’ve only been privy to seeing the apt virtually, and not in person. And all that entailed was just the model & not the actual interior of it apt. So my response is based on what I saw. However, as a current resident of the Sparrow community in Georgetown TX 55 plus community, my trust & confidence of the community at your location, remain strong in the Grand Prairie community.

To all who are 55 and up looking for a nice place to live. The Lakes of Grand Prairie is the awesome one to move into. I have lived here 3 years. Management / Maintenance here are awesome and so sweet and kind. Also very helpful. Any problem you have they are well taken care of . This building is kept nice and very very clean I cannot express that enough. They have fun things to do/go to during the week in the big dining area. Plenty of lights to light the whole parking lot. I have never felt unsafe here. Schedule an appointment you will be glad you did. Debbie

I think that each shower should have something for seniors to hold on to if balance is off, and the carpet in hall and stairwell should be cleaned up more often, spraying each apartment monthly just for cautionary reasons, other than that I'm happy with my living here at the Lakes at Grand Prairie, thanks to all the staff.

The best maintenance team on this side of town. ;) They have been very proactive, eager to solve problems, and prioritize urgent requests. So far, the teamwork and collaboration with the staff have been great. I really do appreciate the prompt attention to the requests. Thank you for the service.

Salvator was wonderful when I arrived for my tour they had a welcome sign with my name on it. That made me feel important and excited about what I would view since the welcoming was so nice. Salvator answered all my questions and took his time showing me around the people were very nice staff and the people living here welcomed me too. It’s close to mostly everything and only 15-20 minutes from Dallas airport.If you’re looking for a quaint apartment with beautiful scenery this is the place to call home. I can’t wait to finish my process and move in.

I had my tour with Salvador. He was wonderful very attentive showed me all the amenities and I just enjoyed the people that I met there. They were very friendly as though they knew me for years and I felt very comfortable. I love love love all the amenities and love the pool.
